Christmas DIY Decor: Xyron Design Team Blog Hop with Graphic 45 & Petaloo

Hi there,

This week, the Xyron Design Team is blog hopping with Graphic 45 and Petaloo.  The Design Teams will be sharing inspiration from November 14th - 20th. This is such a fun and great time to pick up some great ideas to decorate your home for the holidays. There is also a great Giveaway opportunity on the Graphic 45 blog and loads of inspiration: http://g45papers.typepad.com/graphic45/2016/11/the-petaloo-xyron-and-graphic-45-blog-hop-holiday-home-decor-day-1.html.

Good Luck!!

You will find loads of inspiration on the Petaloo's blog too: http://www.petaloo.typepad.com/blog/

Enjoy the hop and thanks for stopping by! :)

Today, I'm sharing Christmas Décor that I created using a wooden frame, the St. Nicholas Collection by Graphic 45 and Sugared Green Mini flowers by Petaloo. The paper collection was aged with vintage photo ink and layered together with Xyron Adhesive. I loved the end result.  Take a peek at my tutorial below:

Supplies
Graphic45 Paper Collection: St. Nicholas Collection
Petaloo Flowers: Green Sugared Minis
Wooden Frame (8 x 8)
Vintage Photo Ink
Foam brush
Velvet Ribbon
3D Tape
Xyron Adhesive:  New Creative Station
Hot Glue
E6000
Trimmer

Instructions

Step 1: Age coordinated pieces of patterned paper from the St. Nicholas Collection using vintage photo ink and run papers through the Xyron Creative Station and adhere layers to wooden frame.

Step 2: Adhere felt ribbon to the frame.

Step 3: Run journaling spots and tags from the collection through The Creative Station and adhere to the frame.  Add velvet ribbon to corner of journal spot.

Step 4: Create a card using coordinating patterned paper and adhere to wooden frame using mega runner.  Add pattered paper and an additional journal spot inside to coordinate with the papers chosen.   Note: This card element will provide an opportunity to add a photo or journaling.

Step 5: Adhere berries, Green Sugared Minis and bows to wooden frame. Continue embellishing as desired.

Absolutely gorgeous! Love both G45 and Petaloo products - you just can't go wrong. And of course we need adhesives to put it all together so Xyron is the best!

I love the red berries and the bow on the
picture.
The G45 papers and Petaloo flowers are
wonderful - but they wouldn't stay
attached very well if you didn't have
the Xyron products.
thanks for sharing.
