"Hello Love" Card

Hi there,

Tonight, I'm sharing this little card created with tons of love for an exhibit at a Pinners Conference this year.  I used DCWV's burlap and stencil, Tim Holtz's distress inks, Waffle Flower's stamps, Petaloo flowers and Xyron Adhesive. Loved the end result.

"Dream Today" Journal using Xyron & Clearsnap

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a journal created with Xyron and Clearsnap products. I really enjoyed combining the products. Clearsnap's Spritzers and Art Screen made creating the background for this journal very simple and quick. Xyron adhesive made the layering effortless and fun. The journal measures 6 x 6. I'm including a tutorial below:

Supplies

Watercolor Paper (6 x 6)
Clearsnap: Color Box Stencil, Color Box Spritzers (Mermaid, Putty)
Xyron: New Creative Station
Chipboard (2): 6 x 6
Distress Ink (Antique Linen)
Charms
Ribbon
Cinch/Binding Tool & Coils
Hot Glue
Trimmer
Water Mister
Craft Mat
Distress It Tool

Instructions

Step 1: Lay stencil on 6 x 6 watercolor paper and spray inks (Mermaid, Putty) onto stencil and paper.

Step 2: Lay additional watercolor paper on top of stencil to absorb excess ink. Repeat step until all loose ink has been absorbed. Let watercolor papers dry.

Step 3: Using a Water Mister, spray water onto mat to activate any loose ink and ink ribbon to coordinate with the journal. After inking the ribbon, wad the ribbon in a ball and set aside to dry.

Step 4: After the stenciled watercolor paper dries, trim paper to desired layering size and ink edges with antique linen distress ink.

Step 5: Run paper through the New Creative Station and adhere to chipboard cover.

Step 6: Using a binding tool, punch holes in pages, distress the edges of the inside pages to create some depth  and use coils to bind the journal. Note: I added 12 watercolor pages to inside of journal.

Step 7: Add chipboard letters to front of journal.

Step 8: Add ribbons and charms to the coils. Continue embellishing the journal as desired.
