Hi there,

Today, I'm sharing a little Back to School Journal created with Xyron and DCWV's Chalk Art Stack. Loved this little project. The use of Xyron Adhesive made creating this journal effortless and quick. It was extremely easy to create and perfect for back to school. Take a peek at my tutorial below.

DCWV Stack: Chalk Art (Journal Covers: 8 1/4 x 5 1/4)

Step 1: Trim papers down to layering sizes and sand papers with sanding block.

Step 2: Run 2 (8 1/4 x 5 1/4) pieces of patterned paper from the stack through the New Creative Station and adhere to journal. Note: This step creates the back and front cover of journal

Step 3: Run coordinating layers through the New Creative Station and adhere to journal.

Step 4: Run focal image layer through the New Creative Station and adhere to journal.
Step 5: Take clothespins apart to create a frame around the focal image.

Thank You Card using Imagine Crafts & Xyron Adhesive

Hi there,

Today, I'm sharing a Thank You card that I created with Imagine Crafts inks and Xyron Adhesive. I love creating projects with loads of texture, so using the Imagine Crafts irRESISTible inks were a joy to create with. The inks coupled with the burlap floral spay and burlap paper added some wonderful texture to this card. The Xyron Mega Runner made layering very easy and quick. Take a peek at my tutorial below.

Supplies
Burlap Paper
White Cardstock (2 sheets)
Imagine Crafts irRESISTible Inks: Desert Sand, Summer Sky
Stencil
Stamp
Black Ink
Floral Spray
Ribbon
Adhesive: Mega Runner
Trimmer

Instructions

Step 1: Lay stencil onto white cardstock and spray irRESISTible inks (Desert Sand and Summer Sky).

Step 2: Place another full sheet of white cardstock on top of the stencil to absorb the ink on the top of the stencil and to create a reverse image transfer. Let dry.

Step 3: Trim inked cardstock down the card layering size.

Step 4: Stamp sentiment on to cardstock layer with black ink and add ribbon.
Step 5: Apply adhesive to the back of card layer using the Mega Runner.
Step 6: Adhere card layer to burlap card base.

Step 7: Add burlap floral spray and bow.
