Today, I'm sharing a journal that I created using Xyron & Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts. This was a super fun project. The products from both companies complimented each other well. The laser cuts were fun to work with and the use of Xyron adhesive made adhering this project together quick and easy. I'm including a tutorial below.
Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts: Words & Phrases 1
DCWV: Mercury Glass
Old Antique Paint
Step 1: Trim patterned paper down to 5 x 7 ¾ and run though the New Creative Station.
Step 2: Adhere paper to the journal. Note: Begin securing the paper to the front cover, wrapping around the binding and then securing the remaining paper to the back of the journal. When you are done, you would have covered both front and back covers with 1 piece of patterned paper.
Step 3: Add berry clusters and ribbon to the journal. Tie a bow and adhere.
Step 4: Adhere flowers with hot glue. Set aside.
Step 5: Remove laser cuts from packaging. Apply gesso and old antique paint to the laser cuts using foam brush. Let dry.
Step 6: Run the laser cuts through the 3" Sticker Maker and adhere to journal.
Step 7: Continue embellishing as desired.
