Today, I'm sharing some really cool DIY tags created with canister lids in honor of "No Housework Day." No Housework Day means plenty of creative time to create fun crafty art. I'm including a tutorial for these DIY tags that I created. They were super easy to make and the use of the New Creative Machine made this project effortless. I couldn't think of any other thing that I would rather do on this wonderful April day. Enjoy the tutorial!
White cardstock (Pre-inked with pattern)
Die cut machine
Vintage photo inkpad
Clear embossing powder
Distress paint ( Vintage photo, Broken China)
Xyron Adhesive (New Creative Station, Clear Hold Adhesive)
Step One: Paint lids with gesso using foam brush. Let dry.
Step Two: Apply distress paint to the desired number of gesso covered lids. I used vintage photo , walnut and broken china distress ink to the tags.
Step Four: Die cut circles from inked cardstock, stamp with sentiments and distress edges with vintage photo ink.
Step Five: Run die cut circles through the New Creative Station to apply adhesive.
Step Six: Adhere inked and stamped circles to inside of lids.
Step Seven: Apply Clear Hold Adhesive to edges of die cut within the lid and add clear beads. Let dry.
Step Eight: Punch holes in each lid using a cropadile and add eyelets. Note:
