Inspirational Cards Tutorial using DCWV and Xyron

Hi there,

Today I am sharing some Inspirational Cards that I created with DCWVs Colored Burlap Card bases, Corrugate Paper, 6 x 6 Chevron Template and Xyron Adhesive.  I really enjoyed creating these. The corrugate paper and burlap card bases added great texture. Xyron Adhesive made these cards effortless to layer together.  Take a peek at my easy tutorial below:

Supplies

DCWV: Corrugate Paper Pad, A2 Colored Burlap Cards, Chevron Template

White Cardstock (3) 3 ¾ x 5

Copic Markers & Air Brush System (E33, RV25, Y15, YG07, BG18)

Stamp (Worded)

Ink (Black)

Paper String

Sand Bar

Xyron Adhesive: 5” Creative Station

Trimmer

 Instructions

Step 1: Transfer the template pattern to white cardstock using a copic markers and airbrush system. Note: I used several color combinations to coordinate with my colored burlap card base choices.

Step 2: Ink stamp with black ink and stamp sentiment onto template patterned cardstock. Set aside.

Step 3: Trim Corrugate board down to size that layers appropriately under the template patterned cardstock and sand with sand bar.

Step 4: Run stamped cardstock and corrugate paper through the Xyron 5” Creative Station.

Step 5: Adhere stamped cardstock to the sanded corrugate paper. Repeat this step for all cardstock layers.

Step 6: Add paper string and adhere to colored burlap card bases. Continue embellishing as desired.
