Travel Journal using DCWV Stateside Collection

Hi there,

Today, I am  sharing a Travel Journal created with the DCWV's New Stateside Collection.  These papers are perfect for traveling, Military and Miss You themed projects. Creating fun journals like this are great for road trips and an awesome way to document your adventures. I look forward to documenting new memories in this journal on our next family trip. I’m including a quick and easy tutorial below:

Supplies

DCWV Stack/Collection: Stateside

Composition Notebook/Journal

Ribbon

1’ Circle Punch

Brad

3D Tape

Xyron Adhesive: The New Creative Station, 1.5” Sticker Maker

Hot Glue

Instructions

Step 1: Trim patterned paper to size of journal and run through the New Creative Station.

Step 2: Adhere patterned paper to the front of the journal and sand edges with sand bar.

Step 3: Trim coordinating patterned paper to layer on the journal. Run through the New Creative Station and adhere to the journal.

Step 4: Trim coordinating patterned paper journaling spots and layer together to create a focal image.

Step 5: Continue trimming desired coordinating patterned paper journaling spots. Run smaller pieces through 1.5” Create a Sticker Machine and layer onto journal.

Step 6: Adhere focal image with 3D Tape and continue adding coordinating patterned paper journaling spots.

Step 7: Add coordinating patterned paper journaling spots and sand them with sand bar.

Step 8: Punch ½ circles using coordinating patterned papers and run through 1.5” Sticker Maker.
