Joyful Greetings Card using Xyron & Deep Red Stamps

Hi there,

Today, I am sharing a card created with Xyron and Deep Red Stamps products. I used the Winter Pines stamp and it's absolutely perfect for the Holidays. It was easy to use.  The full image of the stamp was transferred to my cardstock with the first stamping and the stamp is beautifully detailed. I also like that this stamp is versatile. While I used it for a Holiday theme, it would be wonderful for "Thinking of  You, Birthday, and Thanksgiving/Fall" themes.  The list is endless. Take a peek at my tutorial below. It's super easy and fun!

 Supplies
Deep Red Stamp: Winter Pines
Vanilla Cardstock
Black Cardstock
DCWV: Mercury Glass Cardstock
Distress Stain: Fired Brick, Crushed Olive, Vintage Photo
Sentiment Dies
Black Ink
Black Chalk Ink
Flowers
Ribbon
Xyron Adhesive: New Creative Station, 3" Sticker Maker
Trimmer
Scissors
Hot Glue

Instructions:

Step 1: Apply distress stains to craft sheet. Note: I used Fired Brick, Crushed Olive and Vintage Photo distress stains.

Step 2: Spray water on distress stain and lay cream cardstock on top of distress stain.

Step 3: Repeat step 2 to create additional backgrounds and let the sheets dry.

Step 4: Ink Winter Pines Deep Red stamp with black ink.
Step 5: Trim distress stained cardstock down to size of card and stamp Winter Pines on to cardstock.
Step 6: Distress the edges of the cardstock with black chalk.

Step 7: Run cardstock layers through the New Creative Station.

Step 8: Adhere layers together and then adhere to card base.

Step 9: Adhere flowers and ribbon to card.

Step 10: Run die cuts through 3" Sticker Maker and adhere to card. Continue embellishing as desired.
