"Happy" Keepsake using Xyron & Craftwell

 
Hi there,
 
Today, I am sharing a keepsake that I created using Xyron adhesive and Craftwell dies and embossing folder. Combining the products really enhanced the overall design of this project. The Craftwell dies and embossing folder and available in a large size and perfect for cards of various sizes and layouts. I'm including a tutorial below for the keepsake.
 

Supplies:

Cardstock Stack: DCWV (Vintage Collector Collection)
Craftwell Embossing Folder & Dies: So In Love Collection
Wooden Frame
Grand Calibur Machine
Sanding Bar
Ribbon
Pins
Flowers
Xyron Adhesive: The New Creative Station, Adhesive Dots, Mega Runner
Hot Glue
3D Tape
 

Instructions:

Step 1: Run base layer coordinating cardstock through New Creative Station and adhere to frame. Note: The base layer measures 7 1/2 x 7 1//2.
Step 2: Place coordinating cardstock in embossing folder and run through die cut machine.

Step 3: Sand embossed cardstock with sanding bar to expose the whitecore creating a distressed effect.
 
Step 4: Run sanded and embossed layer of coordinating cardstock through New Creative Station Adhere to frame. Note: This layer measures 7 1/4 x 7 1/4.

Step 5: Run coordinating patterned layers through the New Creative Station and adhere to frame.


 
Step 6: Run photo and patterned mats through the New Creative Station and adhere to frame.

Step 7: Using Mega Runner, apply adhesive to strips of patterned paper and ribbon to frame.
 
 
 
 
Step 8: Run dies and patterned papers through the die cutting machine, sand die cuts and adhere to the frame.
 
Step 9: Adhere flowers and leaves. Continue embellishing as desired.
