Dream Canvas with Xyron & Chibitronics Plus a Giveaway!

Hi there,

Today I'm sharing a project that I created with Xyron and Chibitronics. I absolutely love the lighting effect that the Chibitronics Circuit Stickers added to this project. They really added a nostalgic element to the canvas. Chibitronics and Xyron will be featured on HSN next week with several projects that were created using the Circuit Stickers and Xyron adhesive.  I'm including a tutorial below for the Dream Canvas.

It's simply amazing how the lighting made this canvas come to life...

Supplies
Canvas
Gesso
Chibitronics Circuit Kit
Xyron Adhesive: The New Creative Station, Adhesive Dots
Ink Sprays
Flowers & Leaves
Bulbs
Cardstock
Wooden Words
Cropadile
3-D Tape
Hot Glue
Trimmer

Step 1: Lay a stencil over a gesso'd canvas and spray various inks on to the canvas. Let dry. Set aside
Step 2: Create your circuits on a piece of cardstock using copper foil tape, a watch battery and circuit stickers.
Step 3: Trim 2 strips of cardstock to fit over copper foil tape and circuit stickers. Using a cropadile, punch holes in cardstock to allow the light to show through. Adhere strips with 3D Tape.
Step 4: Adhere Circuit layer to Canvas. Set aside.

Step 5: Run photos and coordinating cardstock through The New Creative Station and layer together.
Step 6: Adhere photo layer with 3-D tape and adhere bulbs over lit stickers using hot glue.

Step 7: Adhere flowers using adhesive dots.
Step 8: Adhere wooden words, bows and additional flowers as desired.

What an amazing canvas. I really like the tutorial. You made it seem to come together so easily. I'll be watching the HSN next week for the Xyron Chibitronics segment, as this looks like a fascinating addition to the world of paper crafting and home decor. Thanks so much. Great blog by the way!
