Xyron and DCWV DIY Stencils Project Stack You & Me Layout

Hi there,

DCWV has some wonderful new project stacks that make creating more fun. The Project Stack line includes Stencils, Seasonal Wreaths, Cone Wreaths, Birds & Butterflies, Flowers, Roses, Mini Albums, and Favor Boxes.  Today, I am sharing a layout that I created using the Stencils Project Stack and Xyron adhesive. I love multiple layers and this project is loaded with them. The project stack includes reusable stencil sheets, patterned Papers, and Kraft sheets. Take a peek at my tutorial below.

DCWV DIY Stencils Project Stack: Layers: 10 x 10, 9 1//2 x 9 1/2, 8 3/ 4 x 8 3/4, layering strips

DCWV Chick Chat Stack (Pink Burlap Sheet): 9 x 9

Xyron: New Creative Station, Creatopia Machine, Mega Runner

Corrugated Board: 11 X 11

Distress Paint Dabber (Picked Raspberry)

Foam Brush

Resin Embellishments

Prima Bulbs

Hot Glue

Step 1: Distress Corrugated board and apply gesso to edges using foam brush. Set aside.

Step 2: Lay stencil over 8 3/4 x 8 3/4 patterned paper and apply paint to paper using acrylic paint dabber. Note: I used Picked Raspberry Distress Paint.

Step 3: Flip patterned and repeat step 2. Set aside to dry.

Step 4: Lay stencil over patterned paper and apply paint to paper using acrylic paint dabber and trim down to desired size

Step 5: Run 10 x 10 and 9 1//2 x 9 1/2 patterned papers through Creatopia Machine.

Step 6: Adhere layers together and then adhere to corrugated board.

Step 7: Run patterned paper through the New Creative Station.

Step 8: Adhere stenciled patterned paper to layout.

Step 9: Using the Mega Runner, apply ribbon to patterned paper strip by securing on the back.

Step 9: Run all patterned paper strips through the new Creative Station.

Step 10: Adhere patterned paper strips to layout.

Step 11: Mat stenciled patterned paper to pink burlap paper and adhere to layout. Note: Use unadhered embellishments as a guide for appropriate placement on your layout.

Step 12: Adhere embellishments using hot glue. Note: I combined layers of different colored flowers to create this combination.
Step 13: Adhere resin embellishments to the layout using hot glue.

Step 14: Adhere bow and sentiment bulb using hot glue.

Step 15: Add matted photo and additional bow to accent.
