Thinking of You Tag: Xyron & Maya Road Blog Hop

Hi there,

Xyron and Maya Road have teamed up for a fun blog hop.  I created a tag using Maya Road's Metal Heart Tart Tins and Resin Feathered Friends, and Xyron adhesive.  The products were so cool to work with. Take a peek at the tutorial below.

Supplies
Metal Heart Tart Tins (2)
Resin Feathered Friends
Gesso
Cosmetic Sponge
Cheesecloth
Ribbon
Text
Flowers
Charm
Cropadile
Ball of Chain
Xyron Adhesive: 3/8 Adhesive Dots, Foam Squares, Teresa Collins Clear Hold Adhesive
Hot Glue

Step 1: Apply gesso to the inside of (2) Metal Heart Tart Tins with cosmetic sponge. Let dry.

Step 2: Adhere Xyron 3/8 Adhesive Dots to (1) Tart Tin.

Step 3: Add cheesecloth and bird nest to tin. Apply gesso to bird nest.

Step 4: Add flowers using adhesive dots and hot glue. Using cropadile, punch hole into bottom of tart tin.

Step 5: Apply gesso to flowers and Maya Road Resin Feathered Friend using cosmetic sponge and set aside to dry.

Step 6: Using cropadile, punch hole in top of 2nd tart tin. Add ball of chain and 1st layer of Xyron Foam Squares.

Step 7: Add another layer of Foam Squares. The depth of the tins required an additional layer of Foam squares to securely adhere the 2 tart tins together.

Step 8: Add bow. Adhere the top tart tin to the 2nd tart tin. Add Bird and charm to the bottom of the 1st tart tin.

Step 9: Adhere text print using Teresa Collins Clear Hold Adhesive. Accent area of the tag with gesso as needed. Continue embellishing as desired.

This tag was so enjoyable to create.  Please visit the Xyron blog for additional creativity!!
Thanks so much for visiting today...:)
Hugs, Karen
