The Sun Shines On Coaster Album...

Hi there,

I wanted to share this fun little album I made using coasters. The tutorial was featured in Scrapbook News & Review.  The front and back covers are coasters also and were cut using the top note die.  Then I adhered the die cut coasters to another coaster that was covered with patterned paper. I wanted the covers to have this unique feel -visually and physically, and the combining of the coasters helped achieve that. I bound the album with my Cinch tool and I used my Fiskars tab punch as an accent throughout the album. Patterned papers were adhered using my Xyron machine. All metals were aged with gesso and distress stains. This was super fun and perfect in my stamp space. The cover is shown below along with a few of the pages.

Christmas 2013 Waterfall Album

Hi there,

I finally finished my 2013 Christmas album. We always have so much fun watching the kids open their presents and it's always the perfect time to get some great photos-And I typically take tons of them. The best part about an album like this one is that you get an opportunity to highlight key photos and still include others in pockets and envelopes.

This year I decided on a waterfall album created out of chipboard. The base pages range from 4 x6 to 6 x 12. I added stitching to the album pages as a small detail. The book was bound using my Cinch…Love that tool so much.  It’s just neat and super easy. Adhering papers to the chipboard was easily done with my Xyron machine. I added pockets and file folders throughout the album to hold additional memorabilia and photos. I also tucked my journaling into a pocket and made pockets out of some of the photos to add a little interesting detail to the album. I used twine and bows throughout the album to keep it playful and fun. All pages and elements were aged slightly with Vintage Photo ink. The collection that I used was Santa's List by Teresa Collins.  This was a super fun project.

Artsy Fun Canvas!!

Hi there,

Happy New Year to you...It's amazing how quickly the years fly by.  It's 2014 and this is my 1st post of the year. I am posting this fun canvas that I created with gelatos, big brush markers, and a prima stamp. This piece has super energy for my crafty space. What I love most about it is that it's super fun. The colors are vibrant and perfect to use with this girly stamp. I also loved the accent that the white big brush marker gave to the canvas.  The polka dots were last minute touch, but just what was needed.
