Beach Keepsake

Hi there,

It's been awhile since I had an opportunity to post. I have been super busy with various creative things and today I would like to share an item that is dear to me in so many ways. Initially I sought out to create just a simple mixed media project and ended up with a keepsake that I will cherish for a lifetime.

I used one of my favorite photos of Chris with the girls walking on the beach. I also included some shells that we collected while there. The shells and netting were sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and enhanced with Faber Castell's brown big brush marker to detail the texture. A lot of love went into this and  I love everything about how this turned out. The foundation is a deep canvas panel and perfect construction for this type of project. The metal embellishments were from my stash, but most of what I used were just found objects that were perfectly themed for this. I hope that you love this as much as I do...:)

Thanks so much for visiting today...:)
