Dream Heart Canvas Album

Hi there,
I just finished this little album. I created it using Dylusions inks and stencils. The base is a heart shaped canvas album by Prima. I covered the canvas pages with Dylusions ink sprays. These inks are so vibrant and fun to use. I put a lot of love of this one and I really like how it came together given the blending of product lines.

Mists Class @ The Art Studio

Hi there,
I am taking a great Mists class at The Art Studio called, “Think Outside the Bottle.”

The class is online, self paced and led by Heidi Myers. I enjoy using all types of inks, and this class really helps you introduce and reintroduce some ink sprays that you have not used in awhile or not often enough. It’s no secret- I love amazing backgrounds. Heidi’s approach to achieving them in a variety of ways is a really great way to make use of your mists. The following is the first assignment.

Supplies Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: K and Company; Ink: Versafine, Ranger; Pen: Ranger; Stamps: Stampers Anonymous; Mists; Ranger; Stencils: The Crafters Workshop

My colors were fun, so I wanted to use some fun stamps. I chose stamps and stencils by Dyan Reaveley. I have been floating between Wendy Vecchi and Dyan Reaveley lately. Both have super creative stamps on the market. In the end, this particular piece will end up as a journal cover---I am pretty sure of that..:)

I love hearing from you , so let me know if you have played with these stamps and what you think of them.

Thanks for stopping by,
Karen

Corrugated ATCs using Dylusions Inks

Hi there,
I made these ATCs using corrugated board, Manila tags, and dylusions inks. I have been playing with the inks recently and I have thoroughly enjoyed the use. The background color combinations are endless. These ink colors are so vibrant and the more water you add the more blending options you create.
I loved making these...

Supplies: Sprays: Ranger; Inks: Versafine, Ranger; Other: Corrugated Board, Ribbon

Summer Layout

Hi there,

If you didn't get a peek at this layout on the SOC blog last week, here it is.  I created this layout using a photo of my little Kimmie enjoying a playhouse at a nearby park. It was such a nice Summer day and this paper was perfect for this photo. The base layer of the layout is white core cardstock distressed with a prima distressing tool. I love the interesting border that distressing adds to a layout.
