Christmas Tag

Hi there, I created this little tag this morning. I used Christmas paper by We R Keepers. The base for the tag is a jar lid. After layering the lid with antique aged papers, I added pearls, jeweled brads,  pom pom ribbon around the lid, and vintage photo ink. I  also used a heavy duty vertical slot punch by EK Success to punch a whole in the lid.  It worked like a charm…Smile

Autumn Tag

Today, I decided to play along with a challenge at The challenge was to create a vintage item using colors: green, yellow, and rust.

This was a lot of fun and definitely a challenge. I chose to use some really fun supplies from Prima(Butterfly & Crocheted piece), stamp by A Muse, Paper by K & Co., swirl brad by Karen Foster, gems, ribbon,  polka dot embossing folder, and vintage photo ink. Love the result….:)

Twins Halloween Wall Hanging

I made this little wall hanging for the girls for Halloween.  I was going to scrap the photos in traditional layouts, but decided to use the photos in a wall hanging instead. I enjoyed this so much more.  I used coasters as the base, Graphic 45 papers, prima flowers, eyelets, ribbon, and vintage photo ink.

Christmas Wall Hanging

Hi there,

I am sharing this little gem I made this weekend using a new paper stack called “White Christmas” by We R Memory Keepers. I really enjoyed playing with this paper. The stack came with die cuts, tags, covered chipboard letters and numbers.  I added ribbon from my stash, eyelets, and ribbon by Hero Arts. The base is coasters that I covered with the papers and embellies. All papers and embellies were aged with vintage photo ink.

Hi there,

I made this ATC tag  a couple of nights ago.  I started out creating an ATC, but ended with a tag as the final product. I used a rub on, Tim Holtz embossing folder and distress ink, ribbon, eyelet, AMM charm, and tag punch. These make lovely additions to gift bags.

Halloween Tag

Hi there,

I had an opportunity to create this tag using a mason jar lid.  Yum!  I used Halloween scrapbook paper by Martha Stewart and airbrushed the edges a little with by black copic marker.  Then I added my 3-d embellies by Making Memories and crystals by Prima.  The last additions were an eyelet and ball chain. Love it!  Another cool item to hang in the stamp room and so appropriate for the upcoming Holiday.

Hugs, K

I needed to create a tag to add to a bag.  This is what I came up with.  I had some mason jar lids and decided to alter one to fit my needs.  I began by airbrushing with my copics onto the lid. I stamped a quote onto the lid using black stazon ink. I then added some airbrushed flowers, bling, and butterflies around the lid. Lastly, I punched a hole in the lid and added a ball chain.  The jar lids make awesome ornaments too…

Hi there,

I enjoyed creating yesterday’s tag so much I decided to do it all over again using a photo of my wonderful hubby and two sweet peas. I started the tag by dry embossing it with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  I then distressed it with using some vintage photo distress ink and added a thin layer of clear prima product packaging to the bottom of the tag.  Next, I added some prima flowers and vines. The last addition was the photo. Fun Fun Fun!!!  Hugs,K

“INSPIRE” TAG (Smooched Metal Technique)

Hi there,

I received my new Technique Junkie Newsletter and wanted to create something using a technique in it.  I chose the “Smooched Metal” technique.  I have had a couple colors of Smooch for quite some time.  I actually picked them up from my buddy’s awesome scrapbook store, Southern Scrapbooks in Fort Mill, SC. Now was the time to pull them out and use them.

I started this tag with embossing it with a folder.  Airbrushed the embossed tag with copic Y23. Next, I added some bordered punched daisy d’s paper from my scrap stash.  I then painted my CTMH frame and AMM “inspire” plate with my molasses smooch. After heating them, I applied them with my photo attached. I added some prima flowers to bring out the color in the paper that I chose. My last additions were adding some trim to the bottom of my tag and an eyelet to the top.  Loved working with the Smooch!
