Wall Art

Hi there,

I have been wanting to finish this for some time and was able to do so late last night…:) The base is an embroidery hoop and fabric. The fabric was found at Hobby Lobby. I added some prima flowers, leaves, and crystals. I also added some Making Memories ribbon to edge the hoop, and roses that I airbrused with my copics to coordinate. The last addition was to add some hand rolled and twisted fabric flowers inspired by Donna Downey. They are so fun to make.

As always-Thanks for stopping by, K

Distressed Tag

Hi there,

I wanted to play with some supplies that I had not played with in a while.  So, I pulled out some distress  inks, foam applicators, stamps, staples and hardware by Tim Holtz.  I had so much fun that I continued distressing tags for future use.  This particular tag will be placed in an altered book that I have that continues to be a “Work In Progress".”

Thank You Card -Vintage Style

Thank You Card

I was finishing up a few prototypes last night and had to share this card. I used some SU cardstock and ribbon, added an MS punch on the edges, some vellum and Le Crème papers by DCWV. I also added a little crocheted ribbon and pearls for a vintage look. I was actually moving in another direction with my creative thought and landed here…LOL…Don’t you just love that.  It happens too often, but still rewarding in the end…:)

Copic ATC using Stampscapes

Hi there,
I decided to create a scenic ATC using my stampscapes the other night.  This was the result...
Copic

I stamped some illustration board with black momento ink. I wasn't quite sure if the illustration board would work well with my copics, but I was pleasantly pleased. The illustration board was purchased already cut down to the ATC size too. Love that!   I then airbrushed and colored with copics: B24, Y18, E39, E37, E35, E33. I also added a little texture with my blending solution for the sanded area. The final touch was to edge the ATC with black ink giving it a framed look.
