Coaster Album

Hi there,

I will be teaching a class on this little book.  So much fun- I can hardly wait.  The book was created using my Bind It All and Dreamkuts machine. I also added some bling- OK, a lot of bling, some metals, several ATCs for inserts, ribbons, charms, copics and vintage photos. The base of this little book is coasters. I really had fun creating this. Thanks for stopping by,K

For Father’s Day…

2010 Father's Day Card 007

I created this little gem for my hubby from the girls. I used coasters as the foundation. I layered them with some sanded embossed  CTMH cardstock. I also added some Prima Crystals colored with an R59 Copic Marker to coordinate with the embellishments.  The 3D Butterflies are by K and Co. and the hardware is by CTMH. Loved the end result.  Hugs, K

Cherish Always….

I created this a couple of days using  a Donna Downey stamp set by Unity and “Warm Words” by SU. I picked up this lovely paper from Southern Scrapbooks in Fort Mill, SC. I love the colors.  The stamped flowers are accented with airbrushed copic colors: BG32 & YR23. All papers were aged with vintage distress ink. Thanks for stopping by…K

Scenic Stamping with Stampscapes

Hi there,

I decided to pull our some stamps that I hadn't used in a long time- Stampscapes. I still wanted to play with my copics, but I also wanted to play with a scene. I chose the Palms with Huts by Stampscapes.

I started this card by stamping the Palms with Huts in black momento ink on to Gina K's Pure Luxury cardstock. I then stamped the clouds/sky. I used copics E30 and E31 on the huts with a tad of 0 (Colorless Blender). Next, I airbrushed B24 on for the sky and E33 for the sand. I opened some areas of the sand with 0. This sure was an enjoyable piece to create.

Copic Certified!

I am finally Copic Certified!!! This past weekend, I was able to take the certification class with Sally Lynn. It was an awesome experience. I learned a great deal and I look forward to sharing my work as I continue to practice and grow more.
My first piece since the class is below. I decided to create an ATC using this little precious stamp of a boy (Max) by The Greeting Farm. I used copics: B21, B24,B28, E17, E27, E30, YR15, YR 16, YR18. The sand and sky were both created using the airbrush system. I hope you enjoy. Hugs, K

I love ATCs. They are so quick and so easy to whip up. Especially for swaps. I had an opportunity to create these for a swap this month.

I used K and Co. "Handmade" stickers, some bling bling, sanded embossed coredination cardstock, and some prima flowers. I edged the Primas with some black ink and aged the stickers for a vintage look. I also added some pearl bling to tie in with the vintage feel. Loved the result. Thanks for stopping by, Karen
