Sunflowers and Dragonflies Challenge 38-No Layers!!!

Hi there,
Let's just say "WOW." If you are apart of my regular readership, you already know that I am not stingy on the layers. So, when Jennifer announced that this week's challenge would be, "No Layers," I knew this was going to get interesting for me...:) Check out all of the beauties from the design team here. My gem is below:

I decided to go small, but cute. I hope that you like my little key tag stamped with a flower from JustRite stamps. I thought that it would be a precious embellishment for this little gum ball machine. This stamp is one of many in the Favorite Occasions set. I used copics Y00, Y02, Y11, YG00, E41, G24 to color and accent, as well as some bling. Hugs, Karen

Junk'd Necklace II

Hi there,

I made the following beauty yesterday before work. I wanted a piece that was 16 inches and made with my very own hands. This is what I came up-very similar to the 1st junk'd necklace, but shorter with different metal charms. Enjoy!!!:)

Junk'd Necklace

Hi there,

I wanted to make something a little special for my club meeting yesterday morning. This is what I came up with. I used some of the same components as I did for the bracelet, such as handmade charms, metal charms, and ball and chain. For photo purposes, I adjusted the necklace to fit the form, but it is 36 inches long.

April Fun...Never too late...

Hi there,

Ok, so I found some cool things to play with recently....Easter was last Sunday, but we have the whole month of April to play...I made these ATCs for a swap and I love them. I still had some scraps from the Sunflowers and Dragonflies Easter challenge weeks ago, and I wanted to use them with these new 3-dimensionals that I found. I loved creating these. Hugs, K

Sunflowers & Dragonflies Challenge 37 (Sketch Challenge)

Sunflowers and Dragonflies challenges you this week to create using this sketch:

The design team enjoyed playing with this so much. See here. My take on the sketch is below:

To create this card I used vellum, embossed CTMH Crystal Blue Cardstock, printed transparency, pearls, SU ribbon, Martha Stewart Punches (Airbrushed with Copics). The cupcake charm is by Sunflowers and Dragonflies and can be found here. It is the chocolate dipped strawberry cupcake, and it comes in two sizes. I love them both...

Sunflowers & Dragonflies Challenge 36 (Blue, Orange, and Yellow)

Hi there,

Today, I am sharing a photo card that I created for the Sunflowers and Dragonflies challenge this week. The challenge is to use the color combo-blue, orange, and yellow. Please see the beautiful work of the design team here. I decided to create a card using photos of my girls. Please see it below:

The photos were taken after our little Camille came home from a 2 week stay at the hospital. She was in ICU majority of the stay, and as you can see in the photos, she is now doing so much better and enjoying reuniting with her twin, Kimberly.
To create this I used Cloe's Closet by Making Memories, which included coordinating embellies and rub ons. I also used 2 JustRite stamps from the Romantic Sentiments set, which are available through Beth at Sunflowers and Dragonflies.
Thanks for stopping by today...Hugs, Karen
