Using My Stash...:)

Hi there,

I hope that you are still enjoying the Holidays!!! It comes and goes so quickly, doesn't it? Well, at least we have a few more days until the New Year!...:)

I am sharing a little ATC that I created tonight. One of my New Year's resolutions is to use more of what I have on hand instead of buying duplicates of what I have at home..LOL! So, I used all scraps to create this. I started with some SU scrap bases that were cut down and layered. I then added some Bo Bunny from my scrap stash. I played with my Expressions machine earlier today and had a chance to cut some items from the Serenade cartridge. Love this cart. I cannot believe I have had this one in the closet for all this time. One of the items that I cut using the cart is a birdcage. There are several on the cart. I colored the birdcage that I chose with my copic E79 and continued to embellish with Prima twine and a bird from a collage pack. This was loads of fun!!!

Thanks so much for visiting today...:)

Hi there,

I made this little Canvas ATC last night. I began with a blank canvas ATC.  I stamped script by A Stamp in The Hand onto the canvas with black stazon ink, airbrushed copics on to the canvas to coordinate colors, added a 3-dimensional felt tree (Basic Grey), some words that I edged with my copics, and some brown dew drops. The last touch was to edge the ATC with my copics. The ATC reads, “Tradition-passing down of beliefs and customs.” Love this with the upcoming Holiday upon us…

I decided to create my bag for this challenge with flocked paper and cardstock. I then embellished the bag with some decorative trim and ribbon. I found this really cute snowman acrylic by Inkadinkado that I wanted to use.  I colored him with copics: RV21 & 23, E40 &  41, C2-Added some sparkly gems. Then placed him in 2 inch frame to create a pendant. Loved this project a lot!

Vintage Christmas ATC Tags II

Hi there,

It was so hard parting with my last Vintage Christmas ATC Tags, so I had to create some more to swap. This time I used direct to paper with my wide copics to enhance my embossed trees and background. I also added some dangling pretties...:) This was super fun! I added 3-dimensionals, buttons, Making Memories Christmas sayings and flowers. The embossed trees are by Sizzix (Tim Holtz collection). To finish of the ATC/Tags, I edged them with vintage photo ink.

Vintage Christmas ATC’s/Tags

Hi there,

I had an opportunity to create these last night for an “Embossed” swap. I started these ATC’s with embossing them with one of Tim Holtz’s tree embossing folders.  I then distressed them an added vintage photo ink to them.  Edged the ATC’s with black ink. The next step was to add 3-Dimensionals, flowers, buttons, crocheted ribbon, Christmas stamp, Making Memories Christmas sayings. The last touch was to add an eyelet to turn the ATC’s into Tags. Yum! Close up’s of each tag are shown below:

Christmas Tag

Hi there, I created this little tag this morning. I used Christmas paper by We R Keepers. The base for the tag is a jar lid. After layering the lid with antique aged papers, I added pearls, jeweled brads,  pom pom ribbon around the lid, and vintage photo ink. I  also used a heavy duty vertical slot punch by EK Success to punch a whole in the lid.  It worked like a charm…Smile

Friday, October 8, 2010

I needed to create a tag to add to a bag.  This is what I came up with.  I had some mason jar lids and decided to alter one to fit my needs.  I began by airbrushing with my copics onto the lid. I stamped a quote onto the lid using black stazon ink. I then added some airbrushed flowers, bling, and butterflies around the lid. Lastly, I punched a hole in the lid and added a ball chain.  The jar lids make awesome ornaments too…

Hi there,

I enjoyed creating yesterday’s tag so much I decided to do it all over again using a photo of my wonderful hubby and two sweet peas. I started the tag by dry embossing it with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  I then distressed it with using some vintage photo distress ink and added a thin layer of clear prima product packaging to the bottom of the tag.  Next, I added some prima flowers and vines. The last addition was the photo. Fun Fun Fun!!!  Hugs,K
