My Sister My Friend Card

Hi there,

I am sharing a card that I created last night for a dear friend that happens to be one of my sorors. I hope that she enjoys it. I used a collection by K and Co. along with all embellies and coordinating layers. The card is on a 6 X 6 base with a little torn vellum attached. Thanks for stopping by and Enjoy!

Snow Globe...

I want to share a card that I created for a dear friend, Patty- for an image swap that I hosted in my Stampin Divas group. I always look forward to the image swap. It is so much fun. The image was the snow globe. I added this lovely skating scene from Sunflower and Dragonflies. The stamp is actually a pair of skaters by Rachelle Ann Miller, but I only needed one. So, my buddy sent the globe image. I then used a marker to ink the portion of the stamp that I needed-then stamped the skater inside of the globe and colored with copics. I turned the colored image into a shaker box and added some snow crystals. I slipped the shaker box into a decorated photo envelope and added gems. I really enjoyed working with this image. Enjoy!

Christmas Card 2

Hi there,

Today I was asked to create a custom Christmas card. This was the result. I used papers/layers and layers by Anna Griffin, an ornament punch by SU, and a snowflake punch by Martha Stewart. I also added some embossed vellum, a metal embellishment, as well as some glam gems. The inside of the card is layered also with a customized message. The card is nestled on to a 6 X6 base. Enjoy!

Sunflowers and Dragonflies Challenge

Today, I created these cards for several purposes. They were perfect for my close stampin buddies in Charlotte, and they meet the requirement for the Sunflower and Dragonflies challenge too. The theme was Christmas. I decided to scale down the 6 X 6 card from yesterday to A2 size for these. I really enjoy fun festive cards like these.

Beth over Sunflowers and Dragonflies also wanted us to share how we celebrated for the Holidays. My family and typically get together to have dinner on Christmas if they are visiting or if we are visiting them. My husband and I are both from South Carolina, so that usually entails some traveling around the Holidays. Whether we are traveling or not, I still cook dinner here at home for my family-all the trimmings...I love the Holidays.

Christmas Card

Hi there,

I had an opportunity to create this card using some Christmas paper by "My Minds Eye." I can always count on them for an eye catching selection of paper to use. I coordinated the paper with some chocolate ink by CTMH and satin chocolate ribbon by SU. I added a snowflake ornament to the card to add pizazz, glitz, and texture. I also added a snowflake punch from Martha Stewart. The size of this punch is awesome. The stamps are by Hero Arts and the small snowflake on the ribbon is a "Dress It Up" Button accessory. This particular card is a 6 X 6 card and will be going to a Stampin Buddy at my stamp meeting tomorrow along with a box stampin goodies...:) Enjoy!
